the delivery of a newsletter. the participation in surveys and market research. the carrying out of a creditworthiness check (if this is not necessary for the execution of the agreement or pre-contractual measures).

2.5 Other targets

If the privacy legislation permits, we may also use your data without your consent for new purposes such as performing data analyzes and for the further development of our services and content. This is subject to the condition that these new purposes, for which the data must be used, were neither undetermined nor unforeseeable when the relevant data were collected and that the new purposes are compatible with the purposes for which the relevant data were originally collected. For example, new developments in the legal or technical field and more modern business models and services can lead to new processing purposes.

    Information about websites

We use your data for the provision of the websites. In addition to the device and access data that arise with each use of this service, the type of data processed as well as the processing purposes mainly depend on how you use the functions and services made available for our services. In addition, we use the data generated when using our services to find out how our online offer is used. We use this information, among other things, in connection with shopping personalization, to improve our services as well as for personalized advertising.

3.1 What data is collected?

In principle, we collect all data that you provide us directly via our services.

Device and access information

With every access to our servers and databases, device and access data are generated, which are recorded in so-called server log files. The IP address contained therein is briefly anonymized at the end of the respective session, as soon as the storage is no longer necessary for the availability of the functions of the respective website.

If available and enabled on your device, we also collect a device-specific code (e.g. a so-called "advertising ID" if you use an Android device or "Ad-ID" if you use an Apple device). This device code is assigned to your device by the manufacturer of your operating system and can be read and used by websites and apps to present you content based on your usage habits. If you do not want this, you can disable it at any time in your browser settings or system settings of your device.

login

We set up password-protected access for users who register for a customer account or other service. If you do not log out after logging in with your login details, you will remain logged in automatically on most of our servers. Depending on the type of services, a cookie or similar technology is used for this. These features allow you to use some of our services without having to log in each time. However, for security reasons, you will be asked to enter your password again, for example when your profile information needs to be changed or because you want to place an order. More information can be found under “Personalized services”.

Social Plug-ins

Our services may contain social plug-ins ("plug-ins") from various social networks. For example, these plugins allow you to share content or recommend products to others. The plugins are disabled by default and therefore do not send any data. You can activate the plug-ins by clicking on the corresponding button (eg "Activate Social Media"). The plug-ins can also be disabled with one click. When the plug-ins are activated, your web browser establishes a direct connection to the web servers of the respective social network. The content of the plug-ins is transferred directly from the social network to your web browser and integrated into our website from this browser. By linking the plug-ins, the social network receives the information that you have opened the corresponding page of our website and can thus collect your device and access data. If you are logged in to the social network, it can also link the visit to your account with the relevant social network. When you work with the plug-ins, e.g. by clicking the "Like" button on Facebook or by commenting, the corresponding information is transmitted from your browser directly to the social network and stored there. The purpose and scope of the collection, further processing and use of the data by social networks as well as your respective rights and setting options to protect your privacy can be found in the privacy provisions of the respective network or websites. The links for this can be found below. Even if you are not logged in to the social network, websites with activated social plug-ins can send data to the networks. An activated plug-in places a cookie with an ID every time the website is opened. Since your web browser sends this cookie unsolicited with every connection to a server, the social network can in principle create a profile that includes which websites the user associated with the ID has accessed. And it is usually possible to link this code to a person again later - such as with the next login to the social network.

Information about website cookies

Our websites use cookies. To visit our websites, accepting cookies is not mandatory. However, we would like to point out that our websites can only have limited functions if you do not accept the cookies. In your web browser you can set that the storage of cookies is only accepted if you agree.

The cookies used by our websites may come from The Beautiful Bride Company or from our advertising partners. If you only want to accept the The Beautiful Bride Company cookies, but not cookies from our advertising partners, you can select a corresponding setting in your browser (e.g. "Block third-party cookies"). Usually, the menu bar of your web browser shows via the help function how you can reject new cookies and disable cookies that have already been received. We recommend that you always completely unsubscribe after you have finished using our website when using computers that are set up in such a way that you accept cookies and flash cookies.

Three types of cookies are used for our services:

Necessary cookies: these cookies are necessary for optimal navigation and operation of the website. For example, the shopping cart function is performed with this cookie, so that the products in your shopping cart remain stored if you want to buy more. The necessary cookies also serve to store certain entries and settings that you have made so that you do not have to repeat them again and again, and they are necessary to tailor the content of The Beautiful Bride Company to your individual interests. The website cannot be used or can only be used to a limited extent without necessary cookies. Statistical cookies: these cookies collect device and access data to analyze the use of our websites, such as which parts of the website are used (so-called search behaviour), how fast the content is loaded and if any errors occur. These cookies only receive anonymized or pseudonymised information and are only used to improve our website, find out what interests our users, and measure how effective our advertising is. Statistical cookies can be blocked without affecting the navigation and operation of the website. Marketing cookies ("Tracking cookies"): These cookies contain identifiers and collected device and access data, in order to provide personalized advertisements on the websites of The Beautiful Bride Company to your individual interests. Our advertising partners, who operate online advertising networks, also collect device and access data via our websites. For example, we can also show you personalized advertisements that match your interests on other websites and in apps from other providers (so-called retargeting). Marketing cookies can be blocked without affecting the navigation and operation of the website. Possibly, however, no shopping personalization can then take place.

We have made country-specific overviews of all cookies used for The Beautiful Bride Company Shop. These can be found under "References to individual websites".

3.2 Online Advertising/Retargeting

Our websites receive cookies and similar tracking technologies from advertising partners, who operate an online advertising network. In this way, our advertising partners are given the opportunity to collect your device and access data and to show you personalized advertisements on other websites and in apps, also from other providers, which are tailored to your individual interests (e.g. advertisements aimed at products you have previously viewed in The Beautiful Bride Company shop).

3.3 Usage analysis

In all our services we implement normal tracking technologies for analyzing device and access data. This way we find out how our offer is used by our users in general. For this purpose, identification cookies and similar identifiers are also used. In this way we find out which content and topics are particularly popular, when our services are used most often, from which region (up to city level) our services are used and which browsers and devices our users generally use. .

In addition, we occasionally carry out so-called A/B tests in connection with the usage analysis. A/B tests are a special variant of usage analysis. The A/B testing (also known as split testing) is a procedure for comparing two versions of a website or app to find out which version produces a better result, is more liked or makes the user faster searched content. By preparing version A and version B and by testing both versions, you will be provided with data to facilitate and speed up decisions about changes to services and content.

You can find out which tracking tools are used in our websites and apps under “References to individual websites”.

There you will also find information on how to disable usage analysis.

You can disable the processing of your data for usage analysis at any time:

In the The Beautiful Bride Company Shop you have to deactivate the "Data processing" function. In the The Beautiful Bride Company Web Shop you will find this function right next to the link that also took you to this privacy statement. In other services, you must disable usage analysis for this.
    Newsletter

We offer various newsletters. You will receive information about the topics covered in the individual newsletters and other information when you subscribe to the newsletter. In addition, there are also service-specific newsletters, which are a permanent part of a special service. When using our newsletter, we also collect device and access data.

4.1 How do I register?

To receive our newsletter for which you must first register, we use the so-called double opt-in procedure or single opt-in procedure (depending on the country), ie we will only send you the newsletter if you have given us your express consent. has granted to activate the newsletter service. If a double opt-in is required in your country, you must first confirm that the e-mail address you have provided actually belongs to you. We therefore send you a notification e-mail and request that you confirm that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided by clicking on the links contained in this e-mail. Sometimes we can waive this measure because you have already confirmed to us in this way that you are the owner of this e-mail address for another purpose.

4.2 Unsubscribe

If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us after some time, you can revoke your declaration of consent at any time, without incurring any costs other than transfer costs in accordance with the basic rates. Only a communication in textual form (eg e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this. You will of course also find an unsubscribe link in the relevant newsletter.

4.3 What data is collected?

If you register for a newsletter, we automatically save your IP address, the time at which the registration took place and the confirmation. This way we can demonstrate that you have actually registered and recognize any misuse of your e-mail address in good time.

We collect device and access data that arise when you interact with a newsletter. For this analysis, the newsletters contain references to image files that are stored on our web server. When you open a newsletter, your e-mail program loads these image files from our web server. We collect the resulting device and access data in pseudonymised form under a randomly generated code (newsletter ID), which we will not use for your identification without your consent. This way we can check whether and when you have opened which editions of a newsletter. The links included in the newsletters also contain your newsletter ID, so that we can register what content you are interested in. With the data collected in this way, we create a user profile with your newsletter ID in order to be able to personalize the content of the newsletter according to your interests and usage habits and to statistically analyze how our users use the newsletter service. We link this data to the data we have collected in connection with the usage analysis.

Individual product recommendations by email and push service

We use the information provided in connection with an order for The Beautiful Bride Company vouchers to check and process the order and to send and redeem the voucher. This also includes reporting and processing the data associated with the use of the voucher, in particular to prevent fraud.
